ABOUT WARGRAVE BOATING CLUB
Situated down a quiet track off Station Road in Wargrave, our well-equipped family Boating Club provides boats and courses for kayaking, canoeing, dinghy rowing, skiffing, punting, fine boat rowing and paddle boarding.
Key benefits of membership:
-
Open weekends from April to September, and most week days during May half term and the summer school holidays, it’s a great way to entertain your children.
-
Free use of club dinghies, sit-on kayaks & Canadian canoes, and stand-up paddleboards (with some age and other restrictions).
Members can bring their own non-motorised craft to launch from the club -
Great facilities including a fully-equipped kitchen, toilets, hot showers, gas BBQ and outdoor benches alongside a beautiful river side location. Complimentary hot and cold drinks.
-
We also offer more competitive rowing in our beautiful “fine boats” including skiffs, punts and eights; a great way to improve fitness and meeting new people
Please note that we are a non-profit organisation run by the club members. Please refer to the WBC policies for age, experience level and other restrictions for individual craft, for when buoyancy aids/life-jackets are required and for club rules and guidelines.
